Welcome to our 21/22 Summer Season!
We are currently updating this page with new information for this Summer, so please check back in here soon.
We look foward to sharing with you some of the amazing pathways in Surf Lifesaving for our Cadets / Youth.
These wonderful girls are just some of those who have found their pathways and are enjoying the benefits of their Membership with Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club.
Meet Emma and Karina – two of our many wonderful members!
Karina has been appointed as our Club’s Ambassador for Surf Women of the Year. Congratulations to Karina! We are so proud of everything you do for our Club and are excited to see how this platform can help further develop you as an individual and our crew of Cadet members who will be working with you to help promote surf safety and lifesaving!
If you’d like to know more about how you can join our Club, please email our Operations Office on: email@example.com or visit the Lifesaving Area of our Website.
(AGED 14 – 17)
The Youth Lifesavers Program is aimed at 14 to 17 year old’s in our club that allows all youth members to be involved in a variety of fun activities and opportunities whilst creating and building on lifelong friendships. This program is for every youth member regardless of what aspect of the club you are involved with.
We mainly communicate via the Mooloolaba SLSC Youth Clubbies Page, as well as email and the newsletter. We strongly advise parents/members to join the facebook group!
(AGED 18 – 30)
When life happens (Uni, moving, work etc.) it can be hard to stay involved in surf lifesaving. We know people become busy. However, we love our members and want the club to be more than just a place you go to patrol once a month. This season we are introducing a communication space aimed at this age group that will enable members to be part of a group that catch up once a month. For example, meeting at strike bowling for a night or BBQ and beverages on the grass. It is an opportunity to take time out of our busy lives to have some fun.
This season we have a range of activities planned including:
Go Karting / Wet n Wild / Aqua Fun Water Park / Pathways / Opportunities Afternoon / BBQ catch ups / Ten Pin bowling / Interclub comps (TBC)
Find out more information about the events below
Are you ready to race? Go Karting is a great opportunity to race your mates and have some fun on the track. Snacks and soft drinks will be supplied so you will be all fuelled up ready to go! Even if you don’t want to race, the thrill of driving a go kart is lots of fun – don’t miss out!
Roll on in to our ten pin bowling event. We will have lanes booked especially for us so we can bowl the night away. Food will be supplied with the winner earning a little something!
Ready for some water fun in the sun, slippery slides, thrilling rides and a bus trip filled with laughter and music?! In January (tbc) we are going to Wet n’ Wild for a day of thrills, relaxation or a bit of both – whatever floats your boat! Transport is provided to and from departing from Mooloolaba SLSC so get your favourite car trip songs ready! Food will also be provided on the day.
Get ready for a few hours of water fun with your friends! Make a splash at the water park and test your ability on the water obstacle course. Snacks and food will be there so don’t miss out.
Want to know more about what you can do within our surf club and surf lifesaving? Our pathways BBQ afternoon is a great way to learn about what opportunities are available. More information closer to the date!
