Become a Surf lifesaver with mooloolaba slsc

Are you interested in becoming a qualified surf lifesaver and patrolling our beach?

The first step to join our club is to undertake the Bronze Medallion course, which is the core award to be a surf lifesaver in Australia.

As a Bronze Medallion holder, you will have the required skills and knowledge in surf awareness, rescue techniques, radio communication, CPR, and first aid to keep the public safe while patrolling the beach.

Once qualified, you are responsible for patrolling our beach and ensuring that the public remains safe.

Our Bronze Medallioin Courses are held throughout the year.

First steps? Visit the information tiles below for more course detail, and/or express your interest for our next course and we will be in contact.

Pathways

There are many different roles that you can enjoy as a lifesaver, from coach to committee member to rescue boat driver.
