Surf Sports training and competitions give lifesavers the opportunity to improve their skills, stay fit and have fun!



Train and Compete
Competitors aged from eight years to seventy plus, train and compete in disciplines involving pool, ocean, lifesaving, boat, craft, swimming and beach events.

Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in any Surf Life Saving Australia competition for Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club you must:

Be a registered member of MSLSC
All fees must be paid and up to date. -
Have obtained the minimum required qualification
Either a Surf Rescue Certificate (Juniors) or Bronze Medallion. -
Meet all patrol hour requirements, according to your membership category
Active members must have completed a minimum of 25 hours of patrol in the preceding calendar year. -
Have met competition eligibility qualification requirements
For example IRB, Surf Boat (sweep), Patrol Competition or First Aid.
